Walt Builds.

An AI consultant who has trained a model.

If you searched "AI consultant near me" from Oxford or anywhere in North Mississippi, this is the local answer. Not a reseller with a deck. One person who has fine-tuned models, shipped AI inside a regulated clinic, and will tell you plainly where AI pays in your business and where it doesn't.

Independent, fixed-scope, and the first conversation is free. Call(662) 292-5533.

How it works.

Readiness review
A short look at the work your team repeats most, the data you already have, and the tools you already pay for. Where a model can reliably carry the load, and where it can't.
A plan in plain English
One page. What to automate, what to keep human, what it connects to, and what it costs. Scoped to what your data and your vendors actually allow, before anyone builds anything.
Build it, or don't
When the plan says build, I build it, inside your accounts, and hand it over. When the plan says you don't need AI for this, you hear that too. The plan is yours either way.

Proof of work.

A model trained on the trade, not a wrapper
I trained a language model on 106,000 real construction-project examples so it estimates like someone who knows the work. Most AI consultants have never trained a model. I have, and I wrote about what it cost.
AI in a regulated clinic
A behavioral health practice runs intake on infrastructure inside their own cloud account under a signed agreement. When the data is sensitive, the answer is not a chatbot subscription. It's a system the practice owns.
Open-source AI tooling you can read
Agent harnesses, memory systems, and safety tooling, tens of thousands of lines of working code on GitHub. Read it before you hire me.

Questions.

What does an AI consultant do here?
Figures out, for your specific business, which work a model can reliably carry and which work it can't. Answering the same questions after hours, reading intake, drafting the repetitive paperwork, pulling reports from systems that don't talk. You get a short plan tied to your real workflow, and I can build what's on it.
Do I need an AI consultant, or just ChatGPT?
For a lot of small businesses, a general tool and a good habit is enough, and I'll tell you so. You need a consultant when the work touches your own data, your customers' information, or a system that has to be right every time. That's where a subscription stops and a build starts.
Is my data safe?
Anything I build runs in accounts you own, and when the data is regulated I work under a signed agreement and design for it from the first line. I've done this for a behavioral health clinic, which is about as sensitive as small-business data gets.
Do you only work with businesses in Oxford?
Oxford is home base, and anywhere in North Mississippi is an easy drive: Tupelo, Batesville, Holly Springs, Water Valley, Southaven. Most AI work ships remotely anyway. Distance has never been the constraint.
What does it cost?
Scoped and quoted fixed before work starts. The first conversation is free and usually tells you whether the payoff is real. Numbers happen in the quote, where they can be honest about your situation.

Bring me the task your team repeats most. I'll tell you if AI can take it, and what it would cost.
